Chris is an experienced commercial and technology lawyer. He trained and worked at a leading global law firm before moving in-house, where he has held a number of senior roles in large household-name businesses. Throughout his varied experience, Chris has spent a lot of time working in multidisciplinary teams, advising, collaborating and learning from all sorts of business colleagues, including senior executives and those working in finance, marketing, project management, business analysis and so on.
Chris has always had a natural interest in process improvement, technology and design. Everywhere he’s worked he has taken a lead in trying to simplify and improve how things are done. In his most recent role, he was the founder member of a new team of in-house lawyers based in Sheffield. He played a key operational role in supporting the recruitment and growth of the team, as it successfully insourced legal work and quickly became one the largest in-house teams in the wider region.
At Wavelength, he brings all this together in his role as a senior lawyer and legal engineer, in which he draws on his experience to help clients on their own legal operations journey.
